These detectives are… strange. On top of their other various eccentricities, they believe everything involving this cult is a giant “game” and that none of it is real. If only they knew… I have plenty of evidence that could prove otherwise, but I fear that if I were to present it, I would be written off as yet another aspect of said “game”. Alternatively, they might accuse me of being a malicious actor aligned with the Lunar Children. Either way, it’s best to continue lying low for the time being.
In the meantime, I’ve been examining their various public resources. They’ve been keeping a rather thorough timeline of events regarding the actions of this cult, but some of it truly stretches the imagination… Time travel? Ghosts? Magical songs? It’s no wonder they write off this cult as fiction, and yet, given what I’ve experienced… I suppose it must all be real too?
These resources have sent me down rabbit hole after rabbit hole. Apparently, the Lunar Children were birthed from a completely separate cult known as the “Moon Children”. As if this weren’t all complicated enough already… This previous group also had their own website – Youshouldnthavedonethat.net. This site… Something about it feels INCREDIBLY familiar to me. This sensation of enigmatic familiarity is one that I’ve become quite used to is honestly rather tiresome. However, something about this feels different. It’s as if… this familiarity is coming from a different place…?
