Okay so given his involvement in undecim nocte and the taunting from Regiminis… was Patrem trying to aggregate with Greth and Moonman? Or just like, wanted them to aggregate? But what would that accomplish, if he wasn’t a part of it as well? Cause I don’t think them being aggregated would make possession any easier (but how could he aggregate with them either, considering he’s not a Greth?)…. or maybe I’m just completely misunderstanding things. But I feel like his involvement is weird anyways.
Perhaps the plan was to possess, force to aggregate and control the aggregated being. Would make sense why Regi would have considered it a lower form of aggregation.
@laches I thought about that, but I’m not sure what that would do either? Like I think BUP has said that aggregation isn’t literally making one being, but is creating like a hivemind of beings. But if that were the case, what would be the point in making their minds one and then possessing them, if possessing them overrides their mind anyways? Like *assuming* the normal version of possession, forcing Greth and Moonman to aggregate and then possessing Greth’s body would still just give you control of Greth, I think (unless conjoining their minds would let Patrem control them both at once? idk tho).

I’m not going to lie, I’m fairly lost on what exactly Patrem was trying to accomplish with this as well.
Actually, something Moonman said earlier may help shed some light on this matter. He claims that during the aggregation he was able to feel Patrem’s presence growing closer and closer… However, that feeling vanished when I stepped in. He theorizes that Patrem was using the two of them as some sort of bridge – one that would allow him to enter over into our timeline. The purpose for this still eludes us, unfortunately…

To avoid potentially cursing this place even further, I think that’s a subject we’d best avoid for now. Dark memetics and whatnot.
